Student's
Council : |

|
|
With the
aim to make students understand their responsibilities towards the
school, Student's Council comprising of six segments is made which is
headed by the Chief of Prefects (COP) of the school.
The six segments are 1.Creative Heads 2.Cultural Heads 3.Discipline 4.
PRO 5.Science and Technology 6.Sports.
In each segment eight commanders are appointed Senior Core Commander (S.C.C.)
(Students of Scholars 2) Core Commander (C.C.) (students of Scholars -1)
Deputy Core Commanders (D.C.C.) (One each from Flyers-1 and Flyers 2)
These commanders are responsible for the duties of their segments. They
help in different activities of the school be it Discipline, Cultural,
Sports, Science Fair, Morning Assembly, Guest Lectures etc. |

proper discipline of the students, additional discipline prefects from
classes Flyers 1 to Scholars 2 are appointed by the Discipline Incharges
to work under them. |

monitoring the progress of the class and having a check on students'
activities of a particulars class, each class teacher appoints Monitors

Subject
wise Activities : |
|
With a
view to emphasize learning by play way method, subject wise activities
to explain certain, topics / concept of a subject are organised for
learners group. |

Classwise
Activities : |
|
Learning
by doing in the best way of learning and retaining any thing. In
classwise activities students learn making light food/ snacks table
manners etc. |

Educational Trips & Tours : |
|
Nature is
the best teacher for humanbeing. Keeping this fact in mind Subodh
organises, Nature trips, educational trips and tours. Students at
different levels are taken to different places like factories,
industries, banks, press, planetarium, bird watching, dairy, Vidhan
Sabha , bakeries etc. for making them aware of the various processes
involved in the functioning/ making of different items.
Every
year the school organises Picnics to amusement parks, resorts etc.
giving students an opportunity to enjoy. |

Celebrations : |
|
|
|
To mark
the celebration of various festivals school organises Cultural function
a day prior to the festival. Every year school celebrates Republic Day,
Holi, Mahaveer Jayanti, Guru Poornima, Labour Day, Rakshabandhan,
Independence Day, Plantation Day, Grand Parents Day, Christmas and New
Year.
On 'Grand Parents Day' students of Learners group present a cultural
programme for their grand parents, who are the special guests on this
occasion.
On Labours' Day class IV staff of the school is given gifts by the
Principal. They are given half day off which they enjoy by watching a
movie and having snacks in the school auditorium. Their duties for that
period of time are performed by the Commanders of the school.
Makar Sankranti Celebration: On Jan. 13, students enjoy kite flying in
the school ground. |

Annual
Function : |

|
Every
year a theme based cultural presentation is given on the Annual Day. |

Fair : |
|
|
|
Shops are
installed towards sumptuous delicacies , Interesting games,
Merry-go-rounds, giant wheel and other swings. Students and parents have
a rollicking time and this is a time which is looked forward to by one
and all. |

Clubs :
|
|
|
|
The
school offer a range of various clubs in order to bridge the gap between
classroom teaching and the outer world. Students can pursue their areas
of interest by joining any of the club.
The activities of the clubs help the students to develop their
confidence and self esteem by providing them with a sound basis for
academics, culture and sports. |

The Disaster
Management Club. |

The Interact
Club is affiliated to the Rotary Club with the motto of
social and cultural development of its members working
together to serve the under privileged society. |

The Hotline
club organises inter school activities Picnics, excursions
and has members from IX to XII. |

The Science
Centre and the Green Growth Club aim at inculcating an
appreciaton towards environmental concern, and fast pacing
advancements in Science and Technology. Guest lectures and
demonstration are organised at school level to pacify the
urge of knowledge among students. |

The
Mathematics Mania and Commerce Club function to enhance
the day to day awareness of the commercial world by means
of conducting workshops, Seminars, Fair, Quiz etc. |

The Human
Right Club - The first of its kind at a school level
function actively to create awareness towards human
rights, and service to society and mankind. |

Report-Card to Teachers : |
|
|
|
Subodh is
the first school to give appraisal report by the students of VI to XII
to the teachers. Students appraise the teachers on certain definite
parameters on a rating scale of average, good and excellent at least
once a year through the computer software ‘Literom’.ubs help the
students to develop their confidence and self esteem by providing them
with a sound basis for academics, culture and sports. |
